I was sitting in front of my monitor late last night, watching a digital forest render in real-time, and a thought hit me that I couldn't shake: What if I’m on the other side of the screen? I’ve been diving deep into the Simulation Hypothesis lately, and the more I look into it, the more "glitches" I start to notice in my own perspective. It’s not just a fun "what if" from a sci-fi movie anymore; some of the brightest minds in physics are actually taking this seriously.
Why I'm Questioning Everything
Think about it—as I move through the world, I see patterns that look suspiciously like code. We have a "speed limit" in our universe (the speed of light), just like a processor has a clock speed. We have a minimum size for everything (the Planck length), which feels a lot like the pixels on your phone.
When I talk about the Metaverse here, I usually focus on the tech we are building. But what if we aren't the creators? What if we are the inhabitants of a simulation that’s been running for billions of years?
The "Glitches" We Can't Explain
I personally don't think we're just mindless NPCs, but have you ever had that eerie feeling of Déjà Vu? Or noticed something so statistically improbable that it felt like the universe's RNG (Random Number Generator) hit a snag? Whether it’s the "Mandela Effect" or just a weird coincidence, these moments make me wonder if the server we're living on is due for an update.
